In the San Salvario district of Turin, will be held Paratissima, an artistic event born as an off-event and soon became one of the most watched and popular initiatives.
Not only art exhibition, but also music, entertainment, events, all bound by a single concept: creativity is something that belongs to everyone and everywhere, not only to museums or traditional fairs. Among the artists, the designer Valentina Lupo will present her line of hand-made sartorial jewels.
On Saturday 5th November galleries, museums, foundations and unusual spaces will open their exhibitions, performances and special art events. The streets of Turin will be illuminated by Luci d’Artista: light installations designed by artists.
The 26th of October 2011 at Jimmy Choo boutique will be presented “Jimmy Choo XV”, a book that celebrates the first 15 years of one of the most popular brands of the world. The fashion journalist Colin McDowell tells the evolution and the story of the brand through the 15 most representative models, presenting also an inedited backstage of the real production process. The book will be published in February 2012.
Glenda Bailey celebrates her first ten years as director of Harper’s Bazaar with a book: Harper’s Bazaar Greatest Hits. A fashion photos collection to tell the last decade of the first fashion magazine of the world. On the occasion of the anniversary, until the 8 of January 2012 at the Center for Photography in NY it’s possible to visit the exhibition “Harper’s Bazaar, a Decade of Style”.
