Art, Textiles & Design: visit our showroom during Torino Art Week

divisore

From October 31st to November 2nd, Torino comes alive with creativity for the Torino Art Week: three days of fairs, exhibitions, installations and cultural events that transform the city into an international stage for contemporary art.

From Artissima to Paratissima, through galleries, foundations and independent spaces – art is everywhere, and Torino reveals its most vibrant, expressive soul.

During Torino Art Week 2025, our showroom becomes a space to explore.

We invite you to experience a unique installation where contemporary art meets signature textile design.

TRAME GRAFICHE, the new textile collection by Elisa Passino for l’Opificio, enters into dialogue with the poetic and powerful photography of Carla Sutera Sardo, an award-winning Sicilian artist.

An immersive visual journey through geometry, texture, colour and emotional landscapes.

To complete the scene, iconic design pieces enhance the dialogue between shape, material and contemporary living:

  • TALK, the sculptural, essential armchair by Mogg
  • ISOLA, the ceramic table-sculpture by Portego
  • The tactile, rhythm-enhancing carpets by Besana Carpet Lab

Together, they shape a new narrative of interior design, where textiles are no longer mere decoration – but become space to feel, to live, to experience.

Photography becomes matter. Textiles become landscapes. The home becomes vision.

Who is Carla Sutera Sardo

divisore

CARLA SUTERA SARDO (Agrigento, 1983) developed a passion for photography during her university years between Palermo and Rome.

After an initial, self-taught approach through self-portraiture, she moved toward deeper experimentation, exploring the most unusual and untouched aspects of Sicilian nature. Over time, she refined a personal visual language that allows her to express her unique perspective through the camera.

Her artistic research focuses on women and the dialogue between bodies and landscapes, with a constant aim to create dreamlike, timeless images.

Her photographs have been featured in publications such as L’Oeil de la Photographie and Vogue Italia, and have received several awards, including the Sony World Photography Awards, the Siena Photography Awards, and the Prix de la Photographie.

Carla Sutera Sardo has exhibited her work in London, Turin, Florence, Palermo, Zhengzhou, Gibellina, Paris, and Slovenia.
