INCISA: Nature’s Mark in Textile Matter

INCISA interprets the textile surface as a place of balance between nature, rhythm and perception. Designed by Chiara Andreatti, this collection stands out for its rarefied texture, inspired by organic suggestions suspended between a marbled effect and the surface of bark.

Through the yarns, the design takes shape in irregular, fragmented and slightly slanted marks that build a continuous visual movement. The composition alternates solids and voids in a natural way, creating a refined optical sense of depth. The result is a surface that feels alive, tactile and light at the same time—always contemporary, never static.

A Material That Shapes Space

In INCISA, fabric does more than decorate. It becomes a design tool capable of defining the atmosphere of a space through a presence that is discreet yet intense. Its visual language works through subtraction, allowing an essential beauty to emerge—one made of rhythm, light and perception.

The texture recalls natural elements without ever describing them literally. Matter is evoked, suggested and transformed into a textile sign that dialogues with space in a refined and measured way.

Lampas in Linen and Viscose

The collection is developed as a lampas in linen and viscose, a combination of fibres that enhances depth, consistency and visual richness. The fabric construction supports the design with balance, offering a sophisticated material effect and a surface with a distinctive character.

The 10 colourways, inspired by tones borrowed from nature, expand the design possibilities and allow INCISA to fit naturally into both residential and contract settings, in dialogue with furniture, light and contemporary architecture.
