l’Opificio at Milan Design Week 2025: Between Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone

Milan Design Week 2025: l’Opificio Bridges Art and Design

Milan Design Week 2025 was an exceptional showcase for l’Opificio, with a presence both at Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone, once again demonstrating our commitment to design innovation that captures the attention of an international audience.

At Salone del Mobile: a design refuge

This year, our stand at Salone del Mobile, designed by Studio Bruno Tarsia, provided an enveloping atmosphere that successfully merged fabric, color, and material into a singular evocative space. Shades of terracotta, ochre, and copper created an environment that seemed to suspend time, evoking the intrinsic beauty of the materials and the depth of the textures.

 L’Appartamento by Artemest

At Fuorisalone, l’Opificio once again participated in “L’Appartamento” by Artemest, located in the striking Palazzo Donizetti, a perfect historical setting that allowed for exploring new dynamics between classical heritage and modern design.

Our collection of SILK VELVET, COTTON VELVET, TALIA, and VICEVERSA Monet cushions played a key role in the setups of the Grand Salon and the Bedroom, curated respectively by Meyer Davis and Champalimaud. These spaces offered visitors a perfect fusion of comfort and luxury, exemplifying the elegance and sophistication that characterize our brand.

Meyer Davis Studio: founded in New York in 1999 by Will Meyer and Gray Davis, Meyer Davis is a design studio that ranges from residential to hospitality, known for its holistic approach and ability to create spaces that tell stories through space. The duo’s aesthetics are marked by sophisticated simplicity that blends creative boldness with refinement, transforming each space into a unique and immersive experience.

Champalimaud Design: based in New York, Champalimaud Design is an award-winning studio led by Alexandra Champalimaud. Specializing in luxury interior design, the studio is renowned for its ability to infuse spaces with a sense of history and place, combining contemporary elegance with elements of character and integrity. Every Champalimaud project is a journey through culture and art, with a keen eye for detail and artisanal tradition.

A bridge between history and modernity

Milan Design Week 2025 offered design enthusiasts the opportunity to explore how l’Opificio’s creations merge functionality with emotional engagement and how design can be a dialogue between the art of the past and today’s innovations, providing visitors a window into how each piece can tell a unique story.
