Contemporary Harmonies: ‘Trame Grafiche’ and ‘High Tide’ between Innovation and Sustainability

During the Milan Design Week 2025, we will be at the Salone del Mobile Milano, Pavilion 13, Stand D51, featuring two innovative collections: “Trame Grafiche” by Elisa Passino and “High Tide” by Daniela Pinotti in collaboration with STUDIOTAMAT.

Innovation and Artisanal Mastery

These new collaborations embody l’Opificio’s desire to blend its creative prowess with contributions from internationally renowned designers and studios, creating fabrics that fuse design, technical innovation, and quality craftsmanship. The collections combine sustainability, versatility, and refined aesthetics, continuing the company’s tradition of excellence.

Trame Grafiche by Elisa Passino: A Visual Language Between Art and Textile

“Trame Grafiche” by Elisa Passino explores an aesthetic that merges architecture, art, and textile design. This line is noted for its fundamental use of color, adding depth and character to spaces. The collection includes:

•         Ondulata: Double straight damask with fluid, harmonious lines that evoke harmony.

•         Ripetuta: Inspired by Art Deco modular motifs and ceramic surfaces.

•         Punto e Linea: Celebrates pure and dynamic geometry.

These fire-resistant fabrics are ideal for use in public spaces and the hospitality industry, ensuring safety and durability.

High Tide Design by Daniela Pinotti X StudioTamat: The Sea as Muse

“High Tide,” designed by Daniela Pinotti in collaboration with STUDIOTAMAT, is a jacquard fabric using the lampas technique to create detailed decorations on a simple background. The patterns reflect the creative vision of the designer, with forms reminiscent of the undulating sea. The designs aim to evoke continuous movement, adding dynamism to spaces. The collection is available in four chromatic variants, expanding decorative possibilities in the furnishing sector.

A New Narrative in Textile Design

With the “Trame Grafiche” and “High Tide” collections, l’Opificio once again demonstrates its ability to merge creativity with performance. On one hand, “Trame Grafiche” offers an elegant, contemporary graphic sign, and on the other, “High Tide” transforms fabric into a narrative and sensory element. Both collections exemplify l’Opificio’s tailored approach, providing customizable, high-quality solutions for any setting.

These collections will be previewed at the Salone del Mobile Milano 2025, in Pavilion 13, Stand D51 at Fiera Milano, Rho, from April 8-13, 2025.

The stand, designed by Bruno Tarsia, creates an enveloping environment of fabric, color, and material. “Terracotta, ochre, and copper shades wrap the space, giving the feeling of being in a place suspended between nature and architecture where light plays with surfaces, enhancing their depth. Fabrics draped from above like grand theater curtains create a sense of movement and fluidity, a silent invitation to be led by sight and touch. The atmosphere is warm; every surface designed to welcome, to create a sense of belonging. The touch of the fabrics, both soft and decisive, amplifies this perception. The mind wanders through sensations: the warmth of sand underfoot, the coolness of shade on a sunny day, the charm of a place where time seems to slow down, leaving room only for the beauty of the material.”
