Celebrating Turin’s entrepreneurship in the 24 Ore Cultura volume
l’Opificio is pleased to announce its participation in the photographic volume “The Art of Excellence in Turin,” published by 24 Ore Cultura and promoted by the Fashion, Textiles, and Accessories Association of the Unione Industriali Torino. The book, which celebrates the manufacturing art and entrepreneurial creativity of local businesses, was presented at the Congress Center of the Unione Industriali Torino.
Completed at the end of the year when Turin was awarded the title of Capital of Business Culture by Confindustria, the volume is a tribute to the dedication, pursuit of excellence, and innovation that characterize the textile industry of Piedmont. The pages of the book offer a visual journey inside the protagonist companies, portraying their identity and values through the evocative shots by photographer Michele D’Ottavio and the texts by journalist Elena Delfino.
“We are honored to be part of this important publication that celebrates the craftsmanship and design of Turin,” says Paola Bertoldo, President of l’Opificio. “Our commitment to creating luxury fabrics and velvets, combining quality, sustainability, and stylistic research, is recognized here as an integral part of an entrepreneurial ecosystem that makes Made in Italy synonymous with excellence worldwide.”
l’Opificio is a benchmark in the high-end home textile sector, thanks to a philosophy that merges the value of artisan tradition with innovation. Each collection is born from meticulous research on materials and colors, with a particular focus on sustainability: all our fabrics are formaldehyde-free and produced with a responsible approach. Our participation in Slow Fiber, a textile network promoted by Slow Food Italia, further testifies to our commitment to a more ethical and aware textile industry.
Being selected for “The Art of Excellence in Turin” is a source of great pride for us and further confirmation of the value of our work. This volume is a tribute to the talent and passion of the textile companies in Turin, who, with savoir-faire and strategic vision, continue to innovate and enhance a unique heritage.
The presentation event was an opportunity to share this extraordinary experience with other key players of the work and with all those who believe in the strength of the Italian manufacturing industry.
