l’Opificio @ Milano Design Week 2022

The best of our #MDW PART 1

A week to remember!

Kissed by a summer climate and pervaded by the happiness of seeing each other and being together. A boom of presences in Milan that showed off its best dress to host the 60th edition of Il Salone del Mobile and the 800 events of the Fuorisalone.
The Milan Design Week l’Opificio
A week full of events that have seen our creations protagonists not only at Il Salone del Mobile, with the physical stand designed by architect Bruno Tarsia and the virtual one by Gianluca Bocchetta, but also four other events of the Fuorisalone, curated by four architects who have given different and surprising expression to the collections of fabrics and velvets of the Maison.

The stand highlighted the new collections Viceversa, Viceversa Monet, Montagna Magica and Velluto di Lino, exploiting the staircase as an architectural element of support that put in communication the different areas between them and towards the outside.

On the walls, the PIT2116 Acqua shade from l’Opificio by Wilson&Morris collection has made the environment welcoming and relaxing.

The exhibition has highlighted the collections of fabrics and velvets, but also those of Home Haute Couture with a focus on Quilts and Pillows and proposed, as already done at Maison&Objet Paris, two complete windows dedicated to contract.

Special mention for the seats chosen for the setting.

For the technical area key player were the armchair and chair of Muta_1 collection designed by Gianluca Bocchetta upholstered in Kid Mohair Velvet Electric Blue where the highlight.

For the showcase dedicated to the Montagna Magica collection instead, the protagonist is the informal Reversível seat, a historic piece of carioca design, designed by the genius creativity of the architect and designer Martin Eisler for Tacchini.

In the physical stand the visitor was able to immerse himself in the virtual stand, a dreamy and out of place environment, created by designer Gianluca Bocchetta, furnished with the seats of the Muta_1 2022 collection dressed with l’Opificio fabrics and velvets collections.

In the next article we lead you to the discovery of the events at the Fuorisalone.
