TRAME GRAFICHE, a furnishing fabric collection designed by Elisa Passino, combines architectural rigor and chromatic sensitivity, creating surfaces that strike with their visual impact.
TRAME GRAFICHE originates from a fertile dialogue between design, art and textile manufacturing, specifically tailored for the contract and hospitality sectors. This collection merges sophisticated aesthetic research with the necessary technical performances for public spaces, making it ideal for environments that demand both beauty and functionality.
The collection features three patterns, each a different interpretation of graphic design, designed to enrich and personalize spaces:
1. Ondulata: Characterized by fluid and harmonious lines, this dynamic pattern adds rhythm and depth to spaces. Available in eight color variants, ONDULATA is a double straight damask that vibrates with movement and elegance.
2. Ripetuta: Inspired by Art Déco motifs and ceramic surfaces, RIPETUTA combines a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic. As a two-weft lampas, it is available in eleven color variants.
3. Punto e Linea: a tribute to pure geometry, this design plays with stark contrasts and volumes, creating a striking visual effect. Also a two-weft lampas, PUNTO E LINEA is available in twenty-two color options.
Each pattern is designed to be easily paired with other contract fabrics from l’Opificio’s collection, offering endless customization possibilities for upholstered furniture, draperies, and other decorative elements.
The fabrics of TRAME GRAFICHE have been developed to meet the demands of the hospitality and contract sectors, ensuring:
• Safety: Class 1 Italy fire-resistant yarns, suitable for use in public and commercial spaces.
• Durability and Maintenance: Fabrics that are wear-resistant and water-washable, ideal for frequent and intensive use.
• Sustainability: Production processes with a low environmental impact, free from formaldehyde and heavy metals, environmentally and health-friendly.
TRAME GRAFICHE represents a perfect balance between technique and creativity, offering design solutions that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are functional, suitable for any interior design project.
Born in Venice, after studying Fashion & Textile Design in Milan, Elisa Passino honed her experience collaborating with creative directors and color experts, eventually joining the product development department of one of Italy’s leading textile companies.
In 2015, she moved to Lisbon, where she deepened her exploration of the dialogue between artisanal productions and aesthetic innovation in design.
In 2019, she founded her studio and launched Geometrie Componibili, a collection of ceramic coverings inspired by the tradition of Portuguese azulejos, which was awarded the Interior Design Magazine’s Best of the Year Award in 2020 in New York, cementing her recognition internationally.
Since then, Elisa has collaborated with international brands for product design, surface design, and color consulting. Through careful analysis of production processes and the expressive possibilities of materials and techniques, she reinterprets decorative traditions in a contemporary key, creating collections with strong identity values, characterized by an essential and sophisticated visual language, where color becomes structure and geometry its narrative code.
Her work is published in international magazines such as ELLE Decoration, Home & Gardens, Metropolis and Ideat.
