l’Opificio at Il Salone del Mobile 2019

Exhibiting in the xLux section – Hall 3 Stand F34

l’Opificio, the Turinese family company of decorative fabrics and velvets, will attend Il Salone del Mobile, exhibiting in the xLux – the section devoted to timeless luxury re-read in contemporary key- Hall 3 Stand F34.
A scenographic presence, designed by the architect and interior stylist Bruno Tarsia. Precious cotton velvet curtains frame stand areas devoted to hospitality or to show-window the new textile and soft furnishing collections. On show cushion waterfalls and an installation that plays with minimal design and the richness of refined decorative textiles.
Il Salone del Mobile is the perfect occasion to introduce the company news of 2019: the new jacquard fabric collections for upholstery and interiors, Architrame and Relief, the collaboration with VelvetLab for MUTA1 Minimal Collection, the collaboration with Wilson & Morris for a new collection of decorative paints by l’Opificio.

 

 

Architrame
 

Architrame collection is the result of the collaboration with Lanzavecchia+Wai studio. It is a damask and lampas textile produced with the jacquard technique, which present three different patterns: Scale, Torri and Facades. 10 chic and unexpected colour variants.

 

Relief
 

l’Opificio collabora da anni con lo stylist Bruno Tarsia che anche quest’anno firma l’allestimento dell’azienda. Alla sua prima volta come designer tessile, ha scelto di collaborare con Barbara Bertoldo, Art Director de l’Opificio. Nasce così la collezione Relief, un tessuto gobelin realizzato con telai Jacquard che permettono di realizzare disegni complessi con effetto a rilievo. 9 le ricercate varianti colore proposte.

 

VelvetLAB @ l’Opificio
 

VelvetLAB is a multidisciplinary creative studio based in Turin, founded by Gianluca Bocchetta in 2012. Two Turinese designers Gianluca Bocchetta and Sara Fortin, in collaboration with l’Opificio, they have created MUTA1 a series of home complements alike armchairs, chairs, small tables and stools that combine minimal and simple structure with strong colours and the vibrant contrast of the fabrics and velvet chosen. In the installation: Minima MUTA1 dressed with l’Opificio Relief and Kid mohair Velvet collections.

 

l’Opificio per Wilson & Morris
 

This year l’Opificio lunches also the collaboration with Wilson & Morris to create a new collection of decorative paints in perfect match with l’Opificio Cotton Velvet Collection: from optical white to pomice, from aragosta to brique, from orchidea to acquamarina to ultraviolet, timeless colours for interiors with great personality. On the stand you will admire the decorative paint nuance Toupe.
