Discover the appointments of the l'Opificio during Milan Design Week.
Il Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the events of Fuorisalone are among the most important appointments for the design world.
l’Opificio will attend the Design Week, from 9th-14th April, participating in different projects that underline the company dynamism and its capacity of innovation.
l’Opificio will expose at Il Salone Internazionale del Mobile in the xLux sector, the section devoted to timeless luxury re-read in a contemporary key, you will find it in Hall3 Stand F34. On the stand styled by Bruno Tarsia, the company will present two new refined and sophisticated collections of Jacquard fabrics for upholstery and interiors.
The Milan Design Week is magical: the all city of Milan becomes a flat board where design is experienced intensely and emotionally. During Il Fuorisalone each town district is animated by a multitude of multidisciplinary events, happening simultaneously with Il Salone del Mobile fair.
l’Opificio is partner of Ca’ Ventiquattro project in the Isola District, one of the Milan area, where tradition and innovation perfectly coexist, where contemporary architecture marks the skyline. Ca’ Ventiquattro, the architectural project curated by Roberta Borelli from MAKEYOURHOME is an old apartment in a typical Milanese building that will be transformed to gift the visitors a unique hospitality experience, bringing the final user to be a promoter of the space without even knowing it.
A further appointment for l’Opificio will be in the historic heart of Milan, the Brera Design District that this year celebrates its 10th birthday: it is the event where Studioart, a young company with a pioneering spirit specialised in the production of leather for interiors, together with Mingardo, an artisan iron-furniture maker, will create an installation of an extraordinary visual and tactile feel.
l’Opificio participates to the project with the supply of scenographic and luxurious velvet curtains.
Finally, l’Opificio launches a collaboration with Wilson & Morris, an Italian brand of the historic Prati family, for a new line of decorative paints declined from its textile collections: 15 new velvets for 15 new colours tones with character: glamour and sophisticated, they interpret far east flavour and Italian tradition: a mix & match that create different perspectives for personalising our homes with audacity and uniqueness. From Bianco Ottico to Pomice, from Aragosta to Brique, from Acquamarina to Ultraviolet, timeless colour shades for interiors with great personality.
Casa Facile Design Lab will present the new paints during the workshops hold, in the heart of the Innovation Design District at Piazza Gae Aulenti.
