Carlotta (alias unocarlotta in Instagram) collaborates with us since more then a year and has participated to the making of our book with her mood-boards published to celebrate 20 years of the Maison.
The blogger tells: “what fascinates me of l’Opificio textiles is that they are aesthetically accessible thus extremely elegant and sophisticated. I adore combining them to create tailor-made interiors giving form to a complex story-telling as that of each of us.”
Paola, President of l’Opificio, explains. “The love for colours and an elegant and timeless decorative style has deep roots. Both, my sister and I have always loved fashion. Though my sister, Art Director of the company, has developed her inner sense of beauty and her personal style during her many years of collaborations with the most renowned Fashion Maison. Hence the idea, that has inspired many, to present our decorative fabrics and velvets as fashion items…therefore our foray in the world of fashion with l’Opificio Kimono and the skirts.”
Today l’Opificio skirt has became iconic, a complementary presence during all our participations to the major fairs, therefore we create one for Carlotta. We have chosen to use the collection Loop to celebrate her passion for geometric design and complex textures. A skirt for a long-lasting friendship!
