l’Opificio @ Artemest - L’Appartamento for Milan Design Week 2024

Luxurious alchemy: interior design and artisanal mastery

During Fuorisalone 2024, l’Opificio's creations will adorn the cityscape within an historic building at the heart of the 5Vie district, for the esteemed project L’Appartamento, curated by Artemest.

As part of Milan Design Week 2024, Artemest unveils the second edition of L'Appartamento, a homage to the beauty and uniqueness of Italian craftsmanship and design set in the new Residenza Vignale. This venue will be transformed by the careful hands of Elicyon, GACHOT, Rottet Studio, Studio Meshary AlNassar, Tamara Feldman Design, and VSHD Design. Each of the six studios will design a room, employing exclusively furniture, lighting, art, and decor crafted by Italian artisans featured on Artemest.

L'Appartamento takes place within Residenza Vignale, on Via Enrico Toti 2 in the 5Vie district, an erstwhile princely abode built in the early twentieth century for an Austrian prince who fell in love with Milan. The romantic allure of this estate becomes the inspiration for six interior design studios, each tasked with styling a room in accordance with their creative vision.

Guests will be greeted by a lavish entrance conceived by Studio Meshary AlNassar, leading to an elegant cocktail room by Elicyon, a grand dining room set by VSHD Design, a majestic living room curated by Rottet Studio, a luxurious bedroom envisioned by Tamara Feldman Design, and an exquisite courtyard orchestrated by GACHOT.

l’Opificio's fabric surfaces will be a feature in GACHOT’s courtyard installation.

Selected for the courtyard's design are some of l’Opificio's cushions, adorned with the SILK VELVET and COTTON VELVET collections in hues of pink and terracotta.
