Vintage, re-commerce, preloved: trending green aspects

Offering to family pieces and old collection an alternative and sustainable second life

Renovate, recycle, reuse today more than ever before, is a commitment towards our Planet, the resources we daily use, the future generations. It is the opportunity to continue to narrate and testimony a story too.

Preloved objects. Already loved, a poetic way to indicate second hand furniture, that allows to reuse object with which we have a sentimental bond and are iconic of a specific period. It allows to reinterpret, with our jacquard fabrics and our velvets, couches, armchairs, seats, sofas that become objects with a contemporary personality, thus strongly tied to their origin.

A correct approach to things, that have to be chosen with attention and to be well kept, so that the passage from one owner to another become a gesture of love towards the object and our Planet.
Did you know that the word vintage technically refers to precious vintage wines? Whilst nowadays we use it to indicate fashion garments or objects that are at least 20 years old. These two definitions though do not express completely the vintage concept, which includes also a world of culture, the storytelling of a period, a custody of memory.

Vintage, is a way of being, it represents a style, in fashion as well as in interiors, it reminds of elements that in the course of the years have become iconic of a period and a style.

Furthermore, vintage is artisan craftmanship, that savoir faire that has gone lost because of the mass production, the uniqueness that make a piece special, inimitable, unique. It is a Nostalgia that warms a contemporary interior telling the story of the object. It is the value of the time passing making the pieces precious. It is erudition, because decorating an interior with vintage objects is neither taken for granted nor it is easy. In fact, we have to elude the risk of forgetting our time, the beauty of using a vintage piece is to create a contrast. The secret is to not subtract but to add value to our interior, making it more personal. This is the secret of our collections which are developed with an interactive approach in mind, that play together an add personality, resisting to the passing of time, like a vintage piece.
